Hello all, I bring you good tidings, now we are in the spirit of the festive season, and as our members you have the right to know first.  

We have received written confirmation that Joshco have pulled out of the Rivonia development.  Its thanks to your support that this happened and we wanted to say thanks to you all for your assistance, in whatever form it took.

*We have won a significant battle, but not the war, as the developer himself is continuing to develop the site, outside of zoning approvals as there are aspects he wants to now include, but we are engaged via our legal team, and have made it clear we will only support a development that is best for the community.*

We have also been made aware of another COJ activity that will have a big impact on our community and unfortunately will require both further legal action and community participation on a large scale; we will advise in the New Year when we have facts in hand.

So the war against poor governance rages on, but we have the elections next year and that’s the time for us to use our voices to ensure we are properly represented.

But a win is a win and its a great way to end 2023…
